What do you think of my story so far?
I’m writing a short story titled "The Queen of Reninia" and the story is based on one of my favorite coworkers who is my mentor/role model.
What do you think of my story so far?

Queen Latasha Connell ruled the kingdom of Reninia with an iron fist and gentle heart. She was considered one of the best dressed and positive queens in all the world.Latasha always had a smile on her face. Even when she wasn’t showing off her neat row of pearly whites her expression often remained calm and suttle. She was so mellow that people who were sad or stressed out would begin to feel relaxed after spending a few minutes with her.
Kammy Lynn was Latasha’s assistant. Kammy Lynn considered it an honor to work for the great, mighty, and awesome Queen Latasha. She enjoyed being under her wing and she looked up to Latasha as a role model.Kammy Lynn was one of the only workers allowed in Latasha’s bedroom besides Emmem, the chef. Kammy Lynn took pride in keeping Latasha’s room and closet neat. She loved being in her capacious closet for it was filled with beautiful garments. Jeans, khakis, blouses, tees, evening gowns, and pajamas hung from satin hangers. Stillettos, boots, dress flats, pumps, casual shoes, and gym shoes were displayed on the glass shelves. Purses in all shapes and sizes hung from gold hooks.
More than anything Kammy Lynn wanted to accompany Queen Latasha to a party.Latasha would go out twice a week for a night of fun. Latasha would choose 4 of her workers to accompany her for a night of fun. The workers would gather before Queen Latasha and she would pick 4 of them to go out for a night on the town.Latasha had to approve of their outfits and hairstyles before they could set out with her.
"That’s a nice outfit.It compliments you."
"Oh no that hairstyle doesn’t do a thing for you. Please go fix your hair."
"Love the shoes."
After she approved of their attire, they would set out with her to one of the local pubs or clubs. Her favorite spot was "The Coconut Hut Pub." A few of her friends would meet her and 4 of her workers there and they would dance, laugh, joke, talk, wolf down beverages, and enjoy tantalizing foods.Kammy Lynn wanted to party with her hero. She hadn’t yet been picked to go out for a night of fun.

i only liked the 1st sentence. 2 b honest it sounded a lil obsessive. completely obvious. its a lil short of terrible. idk where ur going w/ this. but it has potential if it wasnt a homage 2 someone.

Can I fight this "Speed Contest Ticket"?
This is in San Diego California.
So my 2 other friends and I were driving and we were going to meet up other friends at his house. My 2 friends were suppose to be following me but we hit a red light and it was a 3 lane. I was in the middle lane and my 2 friends were on my left and right. When the light turned green we didn’t race, We drove normal then I accelerated to try to cut my friend on the left lane because we had to bust a U-turn on the next light which was probably 1/4 a mile away going downhill. So when I accelerated my 2 friends sped up with me and they both raced past me. Remember I’m in the middle lane. I only sped up to about 48mph and the max speed was 50mph but my friends probly drove past me going like 60mph. When I stopped accelerating and my friends past me they slowed down too because they were suppose to follow me so my friend finally lets me get in front of him in the left lane and my friend on the far right lane comes behind me and my friend in a straight line. We hit the red light and we all busted a u-turn and thats where we all got pulled over by 1 cop. I was in the front of the line. So after we got stopped the cop ran to my car first and told me to get out of the car and frisked me. He didn’t frisk my other 2 friends though. Then they just questioned us 1 by 1 and pretty much he was trying to intimidate me to try to say that I was racing. He did get my 2 friends to admit that they were racng though because my friends were really scared and didnt know what to say. He asked me why we were racing and my answer was "I wasn’t racing, I was trying to speed up to get to the left lane in front of my friend before the light." Then he said who won that race? I said "Like i said I wasn’t racing but my friends were following me to my friends house which they didnt know where it was so that was the reason why I was in the front at the light." Then he asked some other questions that I forgot but yeah all our cars got impounded and I got a ticket for speeding contest… I really don’t want this on my record because I really wasn’t trying to race nor was I racing. If you guys have any advice that would be very helpful. Thanks.

Additional Details
But the police don’t have proof that I was racing either… They didn’t even catch my speed on RADAR! So aren’t I innocent until "PROVEN" guilty? How can they prove that I was racing when they didn’t catch my speed nor see from a side view. Also he gave me a ref ticket for having a modified exhaust when my exhaust was STOCK Straight out from the factory! I had an arguement with him over this. He said "You know how many racer cars I’ve impounded! That’s not a stock exhaust its modified…" I’m going to the junk yard to take pictures of it before I take it out to show the judge. If the cop can make such a simple mistake like that how do you know if he didn’t mistake me for racing too… Also my friends can also back me up in court that I wasn’t racing with them.

I dont know the answer, but I would weigh the possible consequences for fighting it (lawyers, etc.). I am not sure of the costs of the ticket but in my experience, the more I fought with the law the more i got f**ked,

innocent until proven guilty ??? where on earth did you get that idea ? it just doesn’t apply to motoring offenses, if the cop says you are guilty unless you have video or independent witnesses you are convicted, the 5th is being dismantled by the supreme court at every opportunity the citizen stands no chance, let us all know if you get off post it as a question

I think you are screwed because you 2 "friends" said that they were racing. So it becomes your story against 2 cops and 2 friends not great odds. I would try and fight it. good luck.
