Difference between Dewalt DW318 Type 1 and Type 2 Jigsaw?
Does anyone know the difference between the Type 1 and type 2? I am looking at purchasing a used type 2 but I was curious what that meant.

No one is answering you…….I will. It means its one type better than type one..lol Look it up online and read the info on them. Personally, I hate Dewaltt. I went through a drill a year until I went with milwakee……..same drill for 7 years.

Hey Sergio, try Married to the Mob,The LAst Mafia Marriage (Eric Roberts) The Freshman (funny, with Brando), The whole Sopranos series, Moonstruck (not about mafia, but it is an Italian family). There must be others, but you can look up mafia on a movie review site too…good luck.

Personally, I do not like the name Noelle (or Noel).
It does mean christmas to me, and is like naming your child Christmas, or Easter, or even Thanksgiving.

Why not something that sounds similar but isn’t christmas?

Windows Firewall is blocking an exception.?
This is really bugging me. I have a program (Combat arms) that is being blocked by Windows Firewall. I add it on the exceptions page, i can see it checked. I add all the corresponding programs that come along and operate with that program (e.g. Engines, updater’s etc.)

But every time i use the program, and exit it, i see that Windows has blocked the following program:

I check the settings, and guessed what? Windows Firewall unchecked an exception, and blocked it. This has happened every single time and i’m sick of it.

You can manually add that program in the firewall by that they can not restrict or block your program

I think it may be another security program that causes this.

Try to change it in safe mode or disable all your security software before and try it.

How does one get into the animation field?
I want to be able to create my own cartoons eventually. I love the unique worlds such as Cowboy Bebop, or Aeon Flux… and I want to know how to get a job like that.

I graduated from art college several years ago. AAC in the bayarea. If you don’t know anyone who’s in animation field, you can try to present your idea and art work to the teachers in art school. Most of teachers in my school are not professional educator but professional artist. Such as most teachers who is teaching animation may from the big film company. Some of them fly from LA to give us class everyweek.
I thought you may start from their if you go some good stuff. But if you really got some great stuff, be careful with who you deal with. We had sign the contract that all our works belong to school when we were. I have known there some teachers keep student’s idea become their own…

Who thinks that Serpico is the greatest police drama ever made?

OK, gonna think about this. There’s Training Day, The Departed…Assault on Precinct 13 yeah? And there’s the other ones mentioned, but none of those films show the police force inside out, nor do they show corruption as well Serpico, which showed from top to bottom. In addition, none of those films also have Pacino in them. Pacino in the 70s was dynamite. Off-topic but it is a shame that people think of him in Scarface it seems when I think his best two roles were probably Serpico and Dog Day Afternoon (although I did not like the film itself).

Heat Loss and Electric Bill?
I would like to figure out how much it would cost to heat my apartment with electricity rather than gas. As a test I have a thermometer and a hair dryer, and can see how long it takes to heat my room by 5 degrees. If I assume a perfect no loss environment, and ignore the heat capacity of the furniture and items in the room, and assume only the volume of air, I can calculate how many watts per degree. (BTW, my gas bill was $220.00 last month.)
Is ignoring furniture, books, clothes, etc. going to cause more than 5% error?
What equations would I use if I now add in heat loss through the window? I need to come up with a model or set of equations that uses the outside temp.

If you wanted to calculate the heat loss in a room, the easiest way would be to heat it up and then let it cool down. The heat flow is proportional to the temperature difference, and the temperature is proportional to the contained heat, so that you will get an exponential curve to fit your temperature data to.

You could try to measure heat flux through the window as well, but I wouldn’t necessarily recommend it. If it’s really absolutely necessary to know this datum in particular, measure the temperature relaxation curve above in two circumstances: (1) with the window, and (2) covering the window with sheets and other good insulators. If you can spot a difference in the temperature relaxations, you can account for the relative flux of one over the other.
