His wife had to bust open a window with a golf club to free him, but he’s perfectly fine.
Michael | Nov 27, 2009
Yes, he hit a fire hydrant while backing out of his driveway. He is in the hospital, but he was going under 30 mph because the airbags did not deploy.

In chinese horoscopes there are 12 animals with 5 elements to each animal. So each animal comes around every 12 years but the earth-fire-water-metal-wood elements means that in the year you are born in doesn’t come around again for you until you are 60 years old. Tiger Woods was born a few months after the Wood Tiger making him a Wood Rabbit,…….to be chased?
FUN FACTS you can look this all up for yourself.

Yes he ran into a fire hydrant and then his neighbor’s tree at 2am, but they say alcohol was not involved…sounds fishy to me. He is out of the hospital already, they say he is ok

Tiger Woods Hurt in Car Crash
PGA Star Released from Hospital in Good Condition after Hitting a Tree Near His Fla. Mansion
Excerpt of the Florida Highway Patrol press release (CBS)
The Orlando-area mansion belonging to Tiger Woods is seen from a helicopter Friday, Nov. 27, 2009, following news that the PGA golfer was taken to a hospital after crashing his SUV into a fire hydrant and a tree. (CBS)
Tiger Woods was injured in a car accident early Friday when his car struck a tree near his mansion in a gated waterfront community, authorities said.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the 33-year-old PGA star hit the hydrant and a tree after pulling out of his driveway in his 2009 Cadillac sports utility vehicle.
The patrol reported Woods’ injuries as serious, though Woods spokesman Glenn Greenspan said the golfer was treated at the hospital and released in good condition.
The mayor of Windermere, Fla., reportedly said Woods was treated for facial lacerations.
Officials at Health Central Hospital told CBS News Friday afternoon that Woods was released in good condition. They declined to provide further details.
The patrol said alcohol was not involved, though the accident remains under investigation. No one else was in the car, patrol spokeswoman Kim Montes said.

Yes-He got into a fight with his wife and that was the cause of the accident.
He cheated on her and she found out.

He is not the only one good with a golf club in his family. Apparently his wife got him out of the car by breaking the back window with you guessed it A GOLF CLUB. The only question is where was he going at 2:35 in the morning?
Arlene | Nov 27, 2009
Once again…YES! he is ok.
Sam | Nov 27, 2009
ofcourse its not true. Do believe everything on TV?
MM213 | Nov 27, 2009
yes but it’s weird. he hit a hydrant while driving under 33mph. How can you hit anything going that slow, if you’re a regular conscious driver?
Also his schedule will be interesting. according to Roz’s CBS link above, Woods is scheduled to host the Chevron challenge in California next Monday. That means he has to be physically there on Monday or Sunday. How long does a flight from Florida to California take? I don’t know but about 5 - 6 hours? It’s already Friday night so if he’s going to participate in that Chevron golf tournament then he has to leave Florida on Saturday or Sunday. So he has to leave his house soon. It’ll be interesting to see how he’ll look after this accident. The Chevron event starts next Wednesday. Can he really play high level golf in 4 or 5 days?
